Dancing With the Stars Disney Night: 10 Pairs Remain After a Controversial Celeb Is Sent

Many dancers made a big shift during Disney night on “Dancing With the Stars.”

Adrian Peterson finally allowed the audiences to see a softer side during his Viennese Waltz — something he’s also been working on at home, with a newborn baby. While he said it’s been a challenging time of his life, the focus really paid off as he and partner Britt Stewart received their first 7s.

Meanwhile, Xochitl Gomez admitted she was scared of how strict Val Chmerkovskiy was during rehearsals for their very difficult paso doble. But that work ethic came in handy — they got their best scores yet with three 9s and felt closer than ever at the top of the leader board.

Ariana Madix was also nervous, performing the first contemporary routine of the season with partner Pasha Pashkov. While she felt more comfortable in frame, she was able to tap into her theater routes for the routine.

Disney night also featured a surprise appearance by last season’s MVP, Selma Blair, who popped in for Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber’s jazz rehearsal.

Even on the happiest nights of the season, one couple still had to go home. This week, Adrian Peterson and Britt Stewart were eliminated.
