Eleanor Williams Bio, Parents, Husband, Children: Eleanor Williams is a 22-year-old girl who made major headlines in May 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown.
She made the headlines when she posted photos on social media on Wednesday, May 20 2020 of injuries she said were from being beaten and raped by an Asian grooming gang.
Her post on Facebook was shared more than 100,000 times whiles several people joined a Facebook group titled; ‘Justice For Ellie’ and also donated money to help her. The incident also led to a massive demonstration in her hometown of Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria.

In January 2023, Eleanor Williams made the headlines again when the court sat for the final hearing of the case. After the hearing, it was found that all her claims were false and the Asian grooming gang are innocent.
It was also discovered that she had injured herself with a claw hammer. Eleanor Williams was found guilty of eight counts of doing acts tending and intended to pervert the course of justice at Preston Crown Court.
