Here's Kojo Anim, The Ghanaian-Born British Comedian Who Got A Standing Ovation From Simon Cowell & The Other Judges At Britain’s Got Talent

Kojo Anim has got Ghanaians all excited after he’s stellar performance at the Britain Got talent show hit social media. His 3-minutes comedy presentation got the whole house clapping and laughing until the end of the show when everyone gave him a deserved standing ovation.

Prior to the show, he mentioned that his fiancee and son were in the audience and we could tell that probably gave him the required strnfhf to dish out that sort of performance which got him a ‘golden buzzer’ from ‘almighty’ Simon Cowell, the meanest judge on the show.

So who’s Kojo Anim?

Kojo is a multi-talented performer as he has worked as a filmmaker, actor, screenwriter and is the CEO of The Colour Network. He has appeared on CBBC shows alongside Reggie Yates and presented on Capital Xtra. He also hosted a podcast called Nothing To Declare.

Kojo is a comedian and has performed alongside Chris Rock, toured with Dave Chapelle, and opened for Kevin Hart at Wembley.null

Kojo opened for Kevin Hart at Webley and in September 2018 Kevin announced backstage after a powerhouse performance at his third sold-out show at London’s O2 Arena that he would help three UK comedians by producing comedy specials for them.

He said he wanted to give back to Kojo Anim, Richard Blackwood and Slim The Comedian because they were the driving force in his success in the UK after he decided to bring his talents across the pond.

In the video posted on his Instagram page he said: ‘When I first started coming to the UK, these three guys dedicated time and energy to showing me all around basically embracing me. Not only embracing me but making me feel like I stood a chance in developing to become a fan favourite here. As time went over I kept developing, put the work in, and kept coming back. sh!t shot to the roof…Kojo, Rich and Slim, who is not here. You have my word that I will be producing a comedy special for you.’
